When history repeats itself, then can it still be considered 'history'?

Today's the second exam paper of the lot, and it reminds me of the sad passing of my grandma on the morning of the was-then second paper, last semester.

History just almost repeated itself this morning, when my granda came home from Thailand from a near fatal accident. :( Was quite badly shaken the whole day. :((
